Covid-19 testing options

Rapid Antibodies

  • Blood Test via finger prick.
  • Results in 10 min.
  • The Rapid Antibody Test can identify IgM and/or IgG antibodies which infers a recent or past infection, respectively.

Rapid Antigen

  • Nasopharyngeal Swab
  • Results in 10 min.
  • The Rapid Antigen Test can quickly test for the presence of an infection but the results are not as dependable as an RT-PCR which is the gold standard.

RT-PCR

  • Nasal Swab
  • Results same day if able specimen in lab by 4:00.
  • The RT-PCR is the gold standard for identifying the presence of the Covid-19 virus.
